Boo Chi Kombucha is a live, organic, unpasteurised, delicious sparkling drink, known as the “elixir of life". It’s packed full of naturally occurring active ingredients including probiotics, vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and organic acids.
I discovered this magical healing drink whilst backpacking in Sri Lanka. Deciding to enrol on a 10 day yoga and meditation retreat in Arugam Bay I met a wonderful teacher who gave me Kombucha at sunrise and sunset after class.

Kombucha and its Benefits
Kombucha (pronounced kom-boo-cha) is produced by fermenting a blend of black, green or white tea using a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast) and sugar (there is hardly any sugar left at the end of the process as Kombucha converts this sugar to healthy digestive enzymes and other active ingredients that benefit your body). It has qualities that detoxify the body and energise the mind.
